Can I chat without giving my real name?
You appear under a username, and your real name and email are never shown publicly. Share more only if you choose to, and block anyone who pushes you for personal details.
What should I do if someone is rude?
Block them straight away so they cannot contact you again, then report the message from the site. You can also give a thumbs down with one-click feedback, which helps other members judge who to trust.
Can I use video chat?
Members can tick Video Chat as an interest on their profile. The site’s live video check is a check with a moderator, not a call between members. If you agree a video call with someone, never show or share anything you would not want seen elsewhere.
